HOW TO FIND US


We meet at two different locations on a Sunday.

In the morning at 11am in Portree and Dunvegan.

In the evening at 6pm in Portree.

PORTREE

The A87 is the main road running through Portree, between Broadford and Uig.

On entering Portree follow the signs to the Town Centre, stay on the main road, go over the zebra crossing with public toilets on your left.

There is a public car park a few yards further on, on the right, next to the Tourist Information office, where car parking is free on a Sunday.

Opposite the car park is Bayfield Road, with MacNabs Inn on the right hand corner and Highlands & Islands Enterprise on the left hand corner of the end of the road.

Walk up Bayfield Road and the church is halfway up on your right.

DUNVEGAN

Leave the A87 at Sligachan, signposted A863 Dunvegan.

After reaching Dunvegan continue to the car park/toilets on the left hand side.

Dunvegan community centre is directly opposite.


Our Origins


Skye Bible Church was established by Alistair and Barbara Matheson in February 1994.

Their launch of this new work was the result of years of prayerful consideration. With a vision for Skye Bible Church that it will one day be reflective of the New Testament church; fervent in prayer, united in purpose, dedicated to the Word of God, evangelistically zealous, led of the Holy Spirit and supernaturally empowered.

We believe that Jesus is alive and relevant to our lives today and you are very welcome to join us to find out for yourself whether this is pie in the sky or reality.
