HOME GROUPS

We aim to provide a church community in which people can grow in their knowledge and understanding of the Christian faith and apply it to their lives. One aspect of this is participation in small home groups which provide a relatively informal environment to build relationships and provide both prayerful and practical support as we care for one another. Home groups meet in the middle of the week for worship, bible study and prayer and enable individuals to discover and exercise their gifts and ministries.

Portree housegroup Wednesday 7.30 pm @ 14 Cearn Romasdail

We want people to attend their local house group meetings to build up the Christian witness and fellowship in their local areas.

Let us take Acts 2:42-47 and put it into practice if we want to grow in our faith and commitment to the Lord and one another.

Our Origins


As a result of much prayer and preparation, Skye Bible Church was established in February 1994.

The vision was of a New Testament church with the same hallmarks as the first Christian believers: fervency of prayer, unity of purpose, dedication to the gospel and dependence upon the Holy Spirit.

The people of Skye Bible Church stand firmly on the belief that Jesus Christ is as alive and relevant today as He ever has been and invite you to join them in that experience.
